Submit up to 75 high-resolution JPEG images of your visual poetry for expert curation. This package includes the selection and sequencing of 50 standout images, along with a thoughtfully written note by Kristine Snodgrass or Karla Van Vliet, a leading voice in visual poetics. Also included is a personalized phone consultation (w Kristine), offering guidance on suitable visual poetry presses and journals for publication. Ideal for artists preparing a manuscript or looking to refine their portfolio for submission. Please allow 8-10 weeks for detailed feedback.

This package is perfect for poets preparing applications to MFA/MA programs who are looking for assistance in revising their submission materials.
Written feedback on up to 10 pages of poetry and one personal statement/statement of purpose. The feedback will be given by an Anhinga editor or a qualified member of our Board of Directors and will focus on revision strategies.
Please note that receiving feedback from us does not guarantee admission to any specific program (which probably goes without saying, but just to make sure that that's clear). Feedback will typically be emailed within 4 weeks, but may take longer. Though this service will be available until December 1st, we reserve the right to close submissions to it periodically depending on staff availability.
Material you will need to include:
Up to 10 pages of poetry
A draft of your personal statement/statement of purpose that has been revised at least once
Links to the application guidelines for any specific programs you’re wanting to apply to (this will be used primarily to help us provide useful feedback on your personal statement/statement of purpose)
A short list of your favorite poets and your goals for your writing (if this information is not included in some way in your personal statement/statement of purpose)
